Hi there,
Just thought I should let you all know that Wallace Winebars are hosting a mini Italian craft beer festival on Saturday the 15th of November in the Italian Quarter Square, Lower Ormond Quay.
So far I have confirmation from Extraomnes, Loverbeer, Birrificio Montegioco, Almond 22, Foglie d'Erba, and Birrificio Barley. The brewers from each company will be coming to present their beers.
There will be music and Italian Street Food.
There will be no entrance fee, beer will be sold on a ticket stub type basis, one 2 euro ticket for a half pint, 2 tickets for a pint, 2 for a half of specialty beer etc...
Anyway, that's pretty much it.
Best,
Fionn
Will someone brew my BOS please?

Hop Bomb

Was gona pop in but St.Fursey gave me the low down on the pricing so decided to get fleeced elsewhere.
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

It was great. The selection of sour beer was outstanding. Nice to meet the brewers and have a chat too. Some really interesting stuff. Looking forward to the next one.

The entra special beers (sours etc) were €4 for a half and the glasses were €4. I got the volume wrong - my bad.
Good event, €4 for an unbranded glass was a bit harsh but it was better than drinking from plastic. We gave ours back when we were leaving

4 euro entry fee is nothing tbh

Good point. Usually you have to pay in then buy a glass...which I usually end up dropping.

yeah it was really good value if you ask me. lovely glass to be drinking from and the holder worked well too. I was surprised throughout how easy it was to get a beer, no queing
