Bottle sorters - NHC Comp - 14th Feb 2015

Afternoon Brewers,

Every year in Clonard we sort bottles a week in advance of the start of the competition and this is done with the expert help of volunteers.

The date for this years sorting is the 14th of Feb.

We are seasoned professionals at it now and it runs smoothly. Last year we started just after 9 and sorted and crated 400 bottles in 4 hours with a great bunch of volunteers.

If we start at 9 or just after, we get it done before lunch, important this year as the match starts at 5.

The more volunteers the quicker it goes.

We provide lunch and as its Valentines Day to show our appreciation of your time away from your loved one on that special day there will also be a small token, "Bribe" for your partner.

Lifts are available from Dublin if required please state if this is needed. The warehouse we sort in is a distribution point for commercial beer premises and location details will be posted to you if driving.


The sorting and competition doesn't happen without you so please put your name down if you are sure you can help that morning.

With upwards of nearly 470 entries so far, a big increase on last year, we could do with a few extra bodies to help sort the bottles next Saturday.

Remember the more bodies, the quicker it's done.

Without bottles sorted, how are we going to judge them.
