I saw this idea in the following video

I picked up a window planter in Woodies for €2.50. I had been struggling on how to sterilise my auto syphon beforehand

Good man, I've been looking for something like this for years!

I use the same one. Got mine in woodies too. Worth noting that the ones in b&q are drilled for drainage so no use for this..

Other point is that they are as brittle as fuck either empty or full. The corners in particular will shatter if you even look sideways at them. After breaking the 2nd one I reinforced the sides with masking tape and put the new one inside the old damaged one in an effort to strengthen & protect them.

I'm sure that Tommy's etc will have cheap ones also once Spring kicks in, but at 2:50 (in fact. It was 2 forty something ) they are disposable, if I get a couple of cleanings out of it I'll be delighted. I probably spent more on diesel looking for it :-)

Lovin' his big bottle washer thingy with the sponge on the end. Anyone ever see these for sale?

I found the receipt in my pocket last night, normal price is €4.49 but there's 50% off plastic pots at the moment, so it cost €2.24. I would have preferred white but they only had green and terracotta in Woodies Lucan

I got this 2 pack of bottle brush and sponge in Lidl a little while ago, not quite the same but very similar
