Have a brew on today and am pitching the dry abbey yeast. Anyone have any experience with this yeast. Not a lot of info on it out there.

Have a couple of packs in my fridge and plan on using them in a couple of weeks. What style are you brewing?

This one is actually a bit of a use up what I've got recipe. Simple mild double if there is such a thing.
Vienna and pills for base with special b and caramunich.
Came in 1.060. If it comes good I'll repitch in a big quad or Belgian stout.

Bottled this beer today. Really happy with the results. Super clean fermentation. Drops crystal clear. Forms a nice thick yeast cake.
Leaves a lovely Belgian bubblegum sweetness and dark fruits. Think it would be perfect for a triple. Will report back more in a few weeks once it carbonated.

Interested to see how this works. I've tended towards white labs for my Belgians but a decent dried yeast is always good to have in he fridge (if they're any use!)

I've always used wlp500 for my Belgians so will be interesting to see how it turns out. impressed so far.
