Made a batch of All Grain 'Cream' Ale almost three weeks ago. It has sat in primary since then and I had intended to bottle it next week.
I had noticed that there was floaters on the wort for the past week or so but thought it was just part of the fermentation process.
I had a sneaky peek this morning and was bummed to find what looks like a grey mould floating on the wort.
I just racked beneath the floating mould to secondary in an attempt to rescue the brew.
Had a quick taste and it tastes fine.
Fingers crossed all goes well.
Will let everyone know what this turns out like.

That isn't an infection IMHO,i often got that particularily when brewing a stout or porter or heavy brown ale and using particularily Safale US05 dry yeast. ;D

It looks fine from the picture. Run with it and see how its fares after its being bottled and conditioned. :)
