Not Ireland related but it's a craft brewer bought up across the pond. I quite liked their Yakima red. Shame

The start of things to come I think!

I prefer Diageos model. Seems less disingenuous.

Have Diageo bought any craft breweries yet? I suppose they're so big they can just invent a "craft" brand and sell it using their own massive distribution network

This page doesn't say so

But they are pulling crap like this:

Talking about Diageos and disingenuous... (yeh it's old)

SABMiller would be a bigger brewery, tbf.

Diageo do not have the interest going by their past history of launching brands and not sticking with them. Steiger lager back in the 80's was to challenge Tennent's lager which was being sold at ale/stout price. Breo was out in the 90's and they never fully backed it. They have alway's owned Macardles beer and yet again never supported it by distribution or any promotion almost seemed like they wanted it to die off so their communist view of one nation drinking one ale and that would be Smithwick's. :o

Macardles would be one brand perfect for a "crafty" relaunch. A pint bottle off the shelf is actually quite tasty.

I remember reading that, it'd be offensive if it wasn't Brewdog they were doing it to.
