Meant to post this up earlier, I was at the LitFest and sat in on both his talks and tastings, he is an extremely interesting person to listen to, I even got him to sample some of my homebrew when I met him later in the day.

And the verdict?
Beer
1 is good, 2 is better, 3 is enough & 4 isn't half enough

Well he seamed to have enjoyed it as he finished off the bottle, suggested I dry hop in the keg, but that it was an easy drinking beer especially after the beers we had in the tasting beforehand. Here's the beers he had with him,
Sorachi Ace - saison,
Hammerby Syndrome - Swedish strong ale, 35% spelt with spruce added.
Galahad ghost bottle - their Local 1 ale aged on Cider Lees
Wild Horse - porter fermented fully with brett
K is for Kriek - dark abbey ale, aged in bourbon barrels with 10kg of montmorency cherries
And finally and my favourite Hand In Seal, this was Garrett's beer to celebrate his 20th year at brooklyn brewery, a barleywine aged in bourbon barrels. He gave me a bottle of this to take away, it didn't last the night.
