Just wondering how long you keep your fv for before retirement. I have had my first about 6 years. I'm getting some off flavors so am searching for the root cause, which has led me to look at the fv

I think 2 years for the plastic bucket type Fv's,depending on frequency of use.I reckon you need to change yours out if you have been using them for 6 yrs.I also need to change mine out and am looking at the buckets from Alpack for the job.

I have had one of mine repeatedly sour anything put into it. Unless I can boil the shite out of it, it is destined for dry bulk storage
