Updating my beers. 3 taps kegs on the go at the moment so would be bad manners not to bring a bit of each.

A great night in the Old School House.There were 12 + 1 of us!

A few things were decided:

1. Cask Sour project:
   We WILL empty and fill the cask on Saturday 9th of August. ColMac would like us to have an early start sp we aim to meet up from 9 onwards (in the morning!). I will dig out the history and come up with the two lists – who is taking out and who is putting in. I will start a new thread

2. Club Banner:
   We agreed to go with the basic Raven design. Who has this image, can it be vectorised (?) and then sent onto Thomas (Irish_Goat)

3. Upcomming competitions:
   About the only entrant in the summer beer comp is Cahal who is hearby nominatedas our entry
   The german comp is I think the end of August so lots of time still left!

4. Event at MRFC.
   Will mentioned that this Friday it's a bull riding / hog roasting / BBQ night at the club. All are invited!
   Drinking starts at 5:30
   Hog 'n BBQ at 8 ish onwards
   Bull riding from 9

5. Joint Brewday:
   Cahal Jacob is talking with John(aka CH) about a joint brewday with the Garden County Brewers. Watch this space for updates!

6. Fowlers next meeting.
   It was agreed to have the Fowlers meeting as usual in 2 weeks time so its Tuesday the 28th from 7 pm

BTW: I forgot to thank you all for the donation to Una – I gave the money to the Friends of Beaumont and bought the staff chocolates!

As I am not sure what the kitty is (from last Fowlers) But I can say that:

TCF = €223-50 + €27 (tonight) + Fowlers (about €12 but will check with James) so almost €260

We almost have Christmas sorted!

Then it was time to taste the beers!

Not one minger! Some very good beers and cider and even the gusher wasn't a volcano!

The 9th of August is a Sunday not a Saturday's .
I may not be around for that as I'll be on hols. Not sure if I'll be back in town. Sure I'll arrange something beforehand.
