Looking for a chest freezer big enough for one standard 33l fermenter (~40Wx40Dx60H cm).
If anyone has one please let me know.

Dr Jacoby

I bought one recently at a catering auction. Have you considered that option? Very handy if there's one not too far from you.
Every little helps

Jacob

Haven't seen any in my area :(

Keep an eye on the free stuff on adverts. I got one that Imark had spotted. :)

Not looking for a free one. Just don't want to pay 350e for a new one from Powercity or Harvey Norman :/
And all below 200e mark are too small even for one bucket  >:(

Have a look here:

Next one is 29th August

Might make for a grand day out!

Thanks for the link Will, however it's at the end of the month and was looking to get it sorted sooner.

Does it have to be a freezer? I use a small chest freezer and a mini fridge. Both work equally well with a stc. Fridges seem to pop up more commonly second hand.

Jacob

Would I be able to go as low as 0-2C with a fridge?

Frequent Sequence

Yeah. Most mini fridges have a super simple thermostat which can be bypassed.

Jacob

Cool. Will try to source a small fridge then.
