True, but I was surprised to see a few decent beers in there too: Leffe, Hoegaarden, Bass..

A combination of the brewers would create a company with a market value of about $250bn (£162bn)
Mad money. You would see a real hop shortage then.

Not sure Bass has been good in years...

I see Fosters listed. I know this used to brewed by Beamish, who are now owned by Heineken, but Heineken themselves aren't listed here. So who owns Heineken or are they "independant"?

Heineken are a separate company but brew Fosters in Ireland. Kind of the same way Diageo brew Budweiser and Carlsberg for the Irish market.

It can still make a decent cask ale over the water.

Don't Inbev own Kona, Widmer, Red Hook, Goose Island, etc too.

InBev own just over 30% of the Craft Beer Alliance that owns Kona, Red Hook and Widmer. Was never a fan of Widmer and Red Hook hasn't been good in 20 years. However Kona's Pipeline Porter was a great beer (haven't had it recently)
I think Goose Island is 100% owned by InBev now

Great beer, but the cask version is brewed by Marstons I believe
