There's been lots of debate about this, I'm sure what Diageo is doing is all above board.

Sorcerers Apprentice

There are a number of bars on the site in the Storehouse. I'm sure 1 more bar licence won't break them
There's no such thing as bad beer - some just taste better than others

This man in Donegal keeps being raided, but seems to have fought the Guards off a few times: http://www.rte.ie/news/2011/1005/307011-broganp/

fair play to that old lad ,shed with a bar and a 31 year old gf who sings and pulls pints .......living the feckin dream , if it was me id be lodging a complaint that a guard was drinking while on duty and tresspasing as he was on the poor mans property by means of decption , and attempting to pay with forgin curency ...............sneaky fuckers ..........how reliable can his evidence be after having 5 pints ? did he drive back to the station well over the limit ? all questions the judge should have asked .

wonder if i should put a collection box on my bar once its built ...........i hear singing pint pulling 31 year blond polish girlfriends can be expensive to maintain ........

By the looks of things now it is a bar serving the regular Guinness range and a few extras. And as pints are being sold ithere it must have a license of some sort. As others have said it won't break Diageo anyway.

It was not clear whether this is a one off or a weekly set of nights. I sent them a mail to confirm.

Got the following response to my query forgot to post it.

"Good morning Declan,

Thanks for your mail & interest in the Guinness Open Gate Brewery.

The Open Gate Brewery will then open on Thursday December 10th  and continue to operate every Thursday and Friday night from 5.30pm – 10.30pm. Guests will have a chance to meet the GUINNESS brewers in their place of work, discuss the brewing process and sample the great brewing innovations from GUINNESS.

Please note admission is with a ticket only which must be booked in advance. Entrance is €6 per person and this admission fee includes sample beers to taste on the night.

Please do let me know once you have a date in mind and we can make a reservation for you.

I do hope this is in order & look forward to hearing from you.

Best, Terry
