Flaky brewpi fermentation controller

I'm getting a bit fed up with my brewpi fermentation controller. Specifically, the raspberry-pi part which seems to hang after a week or two. I have ended up wiping the SD card and reinstalling everything from scratch on most occasions this happens.
I'm using the recommended SD card. Wired or wifi network doesn't change things. Bought decent USB power supply but that didn't help.

Wondering if others here have similar bad experience with it?

I have issues with brewpi no recognising my arduino sometimes.
But I'm using an old laptop and my own relays and own temp sensors.
I don't know if its a coding issue or maybe the USB cable.
It's intermittent so it isn't a huge issue

I've have the BrewPi connected to a WiFi Router in the shed & the RaspBerryPi drops off every couple of days.

As it's generally set to a constant temp I'm not too worried (I reset the RaspPi once I see it down), as it is the stable Arduino managing the temp control, the RaspPi only feeds the webpage.

Thankfully the arduino manages temperature. My gripe was with the Web interface part as I use it without rotary or display so I'm completely dependant on the Web to see what's going on.
You guys are echoing my experience anyway by the sounds of it. It's a pity it's so flaky. I might set it up on an old nettop pc and see if its any more stable.

Yeah the Pi just randomly goes on walkabout for me as well. The control algorithm keeps working away, even in profile mode, so it's not an issue. Disconcerting though.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Mine used to be bad but, I got a better sd card and it's been working perfectly, it's wired as the WiFi usb dongle I bought doesn't work properly, even with a proper power supply. I remember during install it mentioned that if it drops it could be able to reset itself automatically, and I think I said yes to that.

From what I remember about this project:

They use the Arduino (bottom protocol layer) coz its reliable and failsafe!

The Pi layer above is not reliable!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

I've had the BrewPi running for 7 days now and I haven't seen any issues either network or power. Very occasionally (and mainly on an iPhone) I see an error saying the LCD panel cannot contact the script but it usually sorts itself out after a few seconds.

I've noticed that my temperature will jump by 1 degree every so often for no real reason.

You can see my graphs here https://brewpi.mickotoole.com

***Edit - Forgot to say that mine is connected to the LAN through a poweline adapter***

I connected it directly to a repeater and no problem since

I'd get the same.

From reading this appears to be a Safari/Apple issue rather than BrewPi. It works fine with Google Chrome on Apple.

Mine runs perfectly for about 2wks. Then it crashes and rebooting doesn't fix it. Needs to be clean install to run  again.
I think it's an issue with the filesystem on the raspberry pi. No issues with the temp control component handled by the arduino as far as I've noticed.
A reinstall each brew and niggling doubts about reliability of my fermentation control are deal breakers for me. It's a shame coz when it's running it's a very cool tool to have to monitor the fermentation.

I hear you, if mine starts to get that flaky I'll probably ditch it too. So far so good though so hopefully it will continue that way.
