I was half deciding to go or not but with so many going, it would be rude not to go.

Metalman have their new beer in Geoffs so I might pop in there first to try one so should be there for 1:30 if any one is around

I am a bit iffy now but if I do get in I will head for Geoffs first.
If they had Garnet last weekend they weren't very up front about it. I asked for Alternator and the barmaid shook her head and just stood looking at me until I eventually said Pale Ale, then she just nodded and walked away to get it. The more I go in there the more I hate the present staff. They would be much happier if they replaced the customers with mirrors

newToBrew

first meet of the new year - and have to say it went quiet well, the usual suspects and a few new additions to the group, good to see Grainne &Tim from Metal Man again

good range of Different Beers from Marks Lager :-) to Robust Porters and stouts, to non carbed beers to Gushers !!
Flash gave us some nice samples of a chocolate tequila
I tried the Garnet in Geoffs later - quiet nice - beginning to be able to recogise Amber malt in beers now which is good I guess,
made it home with my hops - thanks Derek, did get some funny looks in Geoffs alright,

stuck up some posters for the competition

oh and it looks like I had a kebab last night too...... ugh
coz theres always something new to do

rukkus

Sounds like a great evening :)

johnrm
