Cask Day - Sunday the 9th

So...I finally got back into my storage unit, and found my 20l of beer I was going to bring to the cask project. Alas, due to ... scheduling screw ups, it's now had six months with 10 or 15cm of air on top of it (as I needed to move it around, so couldn't leave it with an airlock & the original CO2).

Would it be so stale, that it's boned, or could I try pitch some souring bacteria in on top of it ? There is no mould or similar growing on it, it looks...fine.

If it's worth going, would WLP655 be what I should throw in ? Does it need any easily-fermentable sugars to kick it off?

Taste it John. Then decide
If it tastes good drink it
If it tastes bad dump it
If you want to make a sour plan it properly instead of gambling on something that you don't think is upto it from the outset
