It seems only 1 Capital Brewer got hops.

Well contact Cruiscinlan & ask for some. They were to be distributed amongst the club.

If you need to get more, place an order with Geter' Brewed & add a list of the other hops he didn't order:
Styrian Eureka
Styrian Dana
Styrian Bobek
Savinjski Goldings
Styrian Aurora

And distribute these to the other Capital members.

Except it didn't, only one Captial Brewer had his name down on the list, so he made the order himself. I think he may have only ordered the hops he wanted too, and not the full allocation of the ones he got.

Ok so now you need to go and buy some hops.

Blueshed

Ok so we had a quick think and so I will be updating the rules.

Basically open to anyone who is full NHC/Beoir.

Irrespective of free hops.

Not sure yet if the varieties of Slovenian hops should be disclosed at all.

May be just that you used more than the 100 gms allocated.

Also still declare bittering hops.

We have a meet tomorrow to thrash out the fine detail and get the registration software inline with the rules.

So if you missed out on the freebees you can still enter by buying th ehops.
Also a review will be appreciated for the bounght hops as well but not mandatory!

Note we may need to cap the number of entries if this is getting too HUGH!

My interest has peaked after watching Slovenian hop farmers who clearly take their promo very seriously

Entry form is now live! Good luck everyone.

When you enter, you should get an e-mail with your entry number and also bottle labels to attach to your entries. These can be given in to your local club and will then find their way to the North County.

Is there any update on this? Do we have to disclose the Slovenian hops on the entry form?

There is a space in the entry form to add in the hops used, so you can declare it there. The judges will not be privy to this information and it will only be disclosed after the competition, so the community can get some feedback on the impression of some of the hops.

Sorry lads but can we get a bit of clarification on how the judges will approach the beer styles if they're expecting "English" or "American" hop characteristics and it's something completely different?
