This is another brewery going down the co-ownership route. Missed out on the last one and was thinking of taking a punt on this. There is a meeting in Portrush this week.. Anyone have any thoughts on this type of thing.

I attended the meeting this evening. I have to say I was impressed and looks like the wife can buy me some shares for my birthday next week.

I saw an email about the brewery and the share offer, but haven't taken it further yet. But I might ! I like the idea of supporting local brewers, though mostly I do that by drinking lots of their beer !

It's been over a year since this brewery offer and although I've not seen a dividend things appear to be looking good. Three decent beers as a staple and introducing limited edition brews. Plus they head Brewer is sound as the old pound and very helpful.

Managed to try one of their beers at the beer fest in November and was mightily impressed.

I wanted to get in on the second round of shares but the deadline just so happened to be before pay day!  Any news of another round?  I'd still be up for buying in.

Vineyard seem to have a regular supply of their beers. Tried a couple of them too. Not bad.

They stock them in Sunflower too. Tried the porter, it was pretty good, very smooth.

Just back from the AGM tonight and there are a few shares left but they are likely to be held back for staff incentives and/or opened to existing co-owners first before being released to the public. The next special they are doing is a Honey beer with self farmed honey. I've asked for an Irish Red. It's still concentrated to the North Coast primarily but still finding its feet. It's all good...in the hood!
