Imperial stout (Kit Hack)

Hey guys, so I got some kits for free off a mate (I'm AG brewing a year now) and I though I'd do an imperial stout kit hack (similar to Coopers RIS).

Seen as I got them free I might as well have a bit of fun

Plan is to brew to 20L
1 X Youngs 1.5kg Stout can
1 X Youngs 1.5kg Bitter can
1 X Youngs 1.5kg Pilsner can
1 X 1kg of dextrose

What yeast would you recommend ?
Tapped: Brown Porter, Dortmunder, Rye IPA
Bottled: Barrel RIS, Barrel Red Flanders, Oatmeal Stout
Fermenting: Barrel triple, NEIPA
Planned: Pilsner, Hazy Pale Ale, something Belgian

Brilliant, I hereby name this style of beer as an 'imperial FrankenStout'  :D

Running a rough guess of whats in those kits through brewtarget that recipe will give you an OG somewhere around 1.085.  I'd use 2 packs of us05 or a decent sized starter of whatever you have that will ferment clean and be able to handle high abv. I like Mangrove jacks british ale yeast for strong IPA's, but havent tried it in a stout. I think it would work well in one tho

Maybe do a mini mash/steep with some pale malt/carapils, flaked and roast barley to darken the colour and freshen up the kit cans a bit

So I only got around to brewing this a couple of weeks ago, I used nothingham after,
I also stepped 200 grams of chocolate malt and 500 grams of oats.

So I'm gonna stick in secondary now with some whiskey, I have a bottle of Jamesons cask-mates in the press. What % of whiskey should I add to this brew, it's currently at about 9% ABV

I would take a measured sample and do a blend test. instead of just guessing let your senses tell you how much to add.
