Warning!!!

I just want to warn everyone we had a visit  from 2 men in their fifties claiming to be from Britvic looking to seize stolen kegs which they say can't be sold. We checked their identity with  Britvic Ireland and they know nothing about them. CCTV sent to Gardai and full statement made awaiting reply.
Don't suppose it's okay to post an image of them? Just out of curiosity was it it corny sized kegs the were claiming ownership of?

These men were fraudsters thinking they were funny but it backfired on them!

I'm sure it is, in fact, I think for an affiliate the NHC could post these fraudsters images or video on facebook and twitter as well if you can email it to any one of the committee.

What did the Guards say? Any other attempted cases, don't these guys usually go after a couple of locations ?

Number 3 in the Guards lives just across the road from me, he's like that cop that's the boss in Blue Bloods and knows everything about everyone,  I'm sure he would get things moving along for you if I asked he's good like that and he likes my homebrew :)

Thanks CH but I'm not really bothered to be honest far too busy in the shop to be worry about idiots.

No bother, sure I might even ask him anyway as he may dig up something as I don't like people being taken advantage of by fraudsters.
I know they busted a couple of big gangs nicking diageo kegs last year and Romanians heading to France with some in Feb.
If I hear anything I'll revert.

#All Grain Orders #

Lads I am offering 10% discounts on all Grain orders if you pre order the shop is just mental busy at the moment ( must be all madness elsewhere ;) ) as you know it takes a bit of  time to put the grain together and mill it. This will help us keep up our freshly milled service which we are the only ones to provide.

Thanks for your help

That's great. One thing though; I know from visiting the store you have Minch and Chateau, but from looking at the web site, I wouldn't think you do anything other than Weyermann. You're losing a lot of online custom by not having information up there, as we'll just trundle on to the stores where we can see stock levels and ignore yours...
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

Hi All,

Due to popular demand and the fact that I haven't done one since Jan and I have extra staff now I will be doing an all grain brew demonstration this Saturday from 12 - 5 pm. If you want to find out how easy it is to do all grain brewing please come along and bring a friend or 2. Refreshments will be provided and snacks.

I am going to use The Fast Ferment to ferment this batch just to show how it cuts down on having to use a secondary and makes it easier to Recycle your yeast.

Mangrove Jacks have a supplier for their products with quick turnaround order times. We will have Mangrove jacks yeast in stock from tomorrow on and Mangrove jacks cider and beer kits very similar to other Craft beer kits on the market at the moment.

Turbo yeast also available from tomorrow onwards.

Well I represented all HBS today in Wicklow Brewery today. A great day was had by all. It was great as always to see Loughran Family malts and Castle malts great things going on there in the near future which is good for all of us. Hopsteiner gave a speech on why hops are so scarce this year and new substitutes for some favourites. When you here it from the horses mouth it makes sense. Altech did a great speech on yeast and how yeast work and how to get the best out of your yeast. I was well educated on latest things going on in the brewing industry.

For anyone looking for weekend away spot I can highly recommend Redcross it's a lovely little spot with great beer.

Great day out great to have staff to mind the empire while I'm away :)
