That's the one, spinning head version also en route.

God dont tempt me. Really like the idea of using one om the herms return in a lifetime, then using that same lid post boil to clean down the Bk. Don't think it can lift the boiled I'm crud without strong chemicals though, which has stopped me so far.
Fermenting: IPA, Lambic, Mead
Conditioning: Lambic, Cider, RIS, Ole Ale, Saison
On Tap: IPA, Helles, Best Bitter

I was considering using one of these in my build. Was going to put it on an arm with a quick disconnect in the mash return. I went with the simple silicone hose. Interested to see how you get on with it.

DailyAppliance2012 have some nice ones too. Bought some stuff from them before - very good.

Don't think I'd use one for sparge - too much aeration. I just drop a silicone return hose below the waterline, weighed down with a little stainless steel duda.

For stuff sent by Ali express is it sent by regular snail mail? Recently got stung by stuff sent from a seller on eBay with free transport whose stuff was delivered by ups who charged me €40 customs & administration.

Anything I've gotten from aliexpress has been a registered anpost delivery.

The pretty cousin arrived yesterday

Tested against the previous product at full open bore and 50% throttle on both, she may be pretty but not worth a shite even at full whack, lot lost through the bearing, will probably donate to a brewery that pushes 50l a min for cleaning or use as a garden sprinkler!
Proves the old adage about keeping it simple.

Registered snail mail. Takes about 30 days. Slow but reliable. Like CH's hare/tortoise clip. Never had a problem with AliX. I do hate the long delay though.

CH: that spinner looks great. Temptation....

nigel_c

I think I'll stick with the mash return setup I have so.

I have a couple of keg fvs that I could use one of those to rinse,  they look the biz
