Ah Jesus lads I've now spent €500 because of this stupid thread

Can't see that taking off tbh as kegs are a lot more transportable and with the exception of some big stouts as I leave kegging to the last minute and leave behind the last two inches on the bottom of the carboy, I don't notice a huge amount of crap in the bottom of my keg when I'm cleaning them out.
But it is shiny....

Ed

and it weighs 45kg empty??

Anyone in the appliance trade, know if this would fit any standard dishwasher ?

http://www.simplifieddesignllc.com/bens-bottle-washer.php

I did contact them and its $34 for delivery to Ireland.

Sorry luv I just broke the €500 integrated
dishwasher with me bottle washer.
All joking aside if you are serious about washing your bottles follow the hundreds of vids on YouTube where they essentially take;
1. large plastic box
2. Lines of copper or plastic with t's crimped or valves if you want to go fancy
3. Pump capable of blasting up enough through 36-48 bottles and recirc.

Stainless steel dry hopper now that I have blown the budget on a stainless steel fermenter - http://www.brewhardware.com/SearchResults.asp?Search=dry+hop

Anybody used one of these?

I have one I got from the US a couple of years back,  they are good I prefer to dry hop in the fermenter rather than the keg tho.
The crowd in the uk sell them, bridgewater?
Nothing a sterilised drawstring bag with a few marbles and a piece of catgut couldn't do just as well.

Edit oops just saw on Twitter an Irish HB shopping selling them for the same price I bought mine from the US.

Yes I currently use a paint strainer bag that I boil & sterilise before use. I weight it down with some stainless steel pieces. Its a pain in the area though as the stainless option is easier to clean. Not sure why you reference keg versus fermenter? Surely the dry hopper could be used in either.

You can use the dry hopper in both. I recently had a tap pouring stupidly slowly. I opened it up and it was full of hop matter from my dry hopped beer. Adding it to the FV might just be safer!

Just saw the hvc got dry hoppers in and at a great price, http://www.thehomebrewcompany.ie/stainless-steel-dry-hop-filter-for-corny-keg-300-micron-p-3753.html have to use the voucher from brewcon so I might get one.

Can't get them through the neck of a glass carboy although I do have an uber narrow one with bungs either end.
My dry hopping schedule now is just chucking them in!
