There is NEVER repeat NEVER oil in any Oxygen systems.

Welding Oxygen is pure as is Medical grade.

Guess what?? Medical grade is a LOT more expensive than welding grade.

If you want to blow yourself up just oil/grease a fitting and apply pure O2 at 220 bar!

I do get worried that there is technology out there that is down right dangerous to people!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Beerbuddha

Well no arguing about it so.....better bottle some samples for the uncle with spare bottles oxygen for welding/ cutting    O0

And no lubrication of oxygen regulator with oil   :o

Whats the advantage of getting a flow meter with the reg?  Also is there a housing for those sterile filters at all?

Leann ull

How are you going to know how much o2 you are diffusing into your beer, really important to get that right and also only before you pitch.
No housing just a wide feed in and narrower feed out

Dr Jacoby

Flow meter offers a handy way to target the recommended flow rates (roughly 1 litre per minute for standard gravity wort). There's a brewiki article that goes through the details.

In line filters come in various formats. Here's a simple one with barbs. You be able to find cheaper ones with a more thorough search.

Yea, the fittings are 1/4" (mine are at any rate).

Don't forget you'll also need a stone diffuser to get the oxygen into solution. One of these gizmos: https://www.morebeer.com/products/oxywand-05-micron.html

Someone else will probably be able to tell you where to get one locally.

How much was freight?

£5.21 but I live in the North so might be dearer to the free state.

I've the stone sorted out actually, its the rest of the gear and tubing I need to investigate.  Anyone got a bit of 1/4" tubing handy?
