Brewed the above a couple of weeks ago and its finished its primary and  diacetyl rest.  Im going to start the lagering period today.

I dont like risking my efforts with racking .

Do I need to with this beer?   Is it ok to sit on the cake for a few weeks?

It tastes awesome  already....

If you're not comfortable racking to secondary, then don't.
It's only a few weeks in a cold environment, so it should be fine.
I never notice any real difference if i rack to secondary or just lager in primary.

I'd say that you should be ok if it's only been two weeks since pitching. I think the general consensus is a month but I've heard of people pushing it much further than that without noticeable affects on the beer. Yeast health (viability, stresses, etc.) will be a big determining factor.

The longest I've left a beer on primary is a month and I've never had any off flavours develop.

The recipe sounds great, I'll have to put that on the 'to brew' list!
