Looking for a 5l erlenmeyer flask if anyone has one for sale or knows where to get one for a good price

aweisse

I bought a 5 L flask from Lennox.ie, just email them ( cs@lennox.ie ) as to what you want and what you want it for.
i bought 1 for €44 deliverey included (delivery was €18.45 inc vat)

There was a GB last year and price was better than that not by that much tho, I guess if you could collect from Lennox you'd be good.
I've 3 of the 5L, often do doubles or for "Brewoffs" and 1 for redundancy I ended our giving away all my 2 L and they were a pain when i came to boilovers.
I've yet to but you could use them for fermentation.
I guess my point is if you come across a cheap ones buy 2.

Could always use a Demi John if you were stuck.

Nice one, Lennox are down the road from me  :)

Lennox don't sell to the public any more. Any other suppliers I could use?

DEMPSEY

They never did but if you turn up at the door then they will just look at you and roll their eyes as you look all cute and cuddly  :D

VWR won't sell me one either  >:(

Are they afraid of a Walter White out there or something?

irish_goat

I'll sell you mines. It's far too big for my needs. Bought it for €35 in the group buy so you can have it for that.

Cool. Parcel motel work for you? Pm me O0

Is it just me or does sending a large fragile glass vessel by parcel motel sound like a bad idea to anyone else?

If it's packed properly it should be fine.

King Scientific in the UK have 3L ones for £20 as well but their 5L are very dear ie £50.
