Hi, I'm looking for a CO2 regulator, there are loads on the net through Irish and UK homebrew stores but I'm not in a panic and I'm on the lookout for one that's being sold secondhand. Alex in Carlow had some but I can't find his adds anymore on Adverts. I'd appreciate any feedback. Thanks.

To add to my previous post, I spotted this on ebay, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/162017902611. Yea or nay.

Looks like bar and an weird way of saying  lbf/in^2 (psi).

They are PSI.

What I dont like about them is the second gauge.   With a full 2KG bottle of co2, it only lifts the needle out of the red.   They are ment to really be used on proper high pressure welding c02 tanks.  Not the stuff we use.

But they work and cost 12 pound.

So happy days.

Thanks for the info, I'm not in rush with purchasing one so I'll hold off if there's one going for sale through here second hand or I'll keep an eye out online. Thanks.

Any CO2 bottle will only register about 700 psi or 50 bar when full. That is the pressure over the liquid CO2. Once all the liquid CO2 is used the needle will drop quite quickly.

There is no such thing as a "Proper HP CO2 tank"!

Hi bbreal, no sorry I don't play with this toys anymore.
Bad day brewing is better than good day working.
