As the new batch of Bulldog Brewers are arriving in the country imminently (if that's a word), I hope to have a few of them in the middle of next week. To celebrate this, I'll be doing a demo brew on the model I have this coming Saturday 19th. Starting at 11 am. I'll also be taking deposits for the new version 2 - ask in store and I'll give you a very special price

Sure, as half the world seems to be doing Black Friday specials, I'll knock 10% off everything until close on Saturday. And I'm calling it Freaky Friday

I doubt that this will be of interest to many of you (because if you're already on this forum, you know how to brew!), but I'll be running a free demo on Tuesday 13th December at 6pm on "How to brew in an apartment" - basically making a beer kit in the Cooper's half-size fermenter, and showing people how to bottle.

Yep; it's a fairly new starter kit from Coopers - http://www.thehomebrewcentre.ie/coopers-diy-beer-craft-brew-kit-85-litre.html

Hopefully the plan is to get new people interested in making their own.

Just to let you know the shop will be closed Thursday 5th to Saturday 7th January - there's been a bereavement in the family and I have to go to England for a few days.

   Reopens Tuesday 10th January.

My apologies for those who came to the shop on Thursday or Friday to find it closed. Due to unforseen circumstances (i.e spending two days in A&E), the shop was closed. And it will also be closed on Tuesday 17th January, as I will be in England for a funeral.
   So I'm really sorry about this, but hopefully normal service will be resumed from Wednesday 18th onwards.
