Oxygenation kit

I'm about to start picking up the bits and pieces needed for pure oxygenation. So thought I'd see if anyone who took part in the group buy is looking to sell at this stage? I have the flow meter, so all I need is:

- Regulator
- Oxygen Tank
- 0.5 Diffusion stone
- Tubing/Wand

Will buy off them if nobody is selling one. The group buy price was pretty good at the time compared to now.

Regulator (€23) and gas bottle (€19.50) altogether were €42.50 according to the front page article. Contrast that with €68 now incl VAT.

Wow that expensive, I know there is a welding supplier in Lisburn that sells tanks for stg20, O2 really only comes into its own for big beers or in my case lagers, probably why I robbed a medical tank off Granny. HBC sells the stones I think.
why don't you start with one of these an just use atmospheric to start, I think it takes 02 saturation from something like 8ppm to 12-13 v's 18-20 for 02

Wort aeration using air will reach saturation at 8-10 ppm. It's not based on the method. Saturation is saturation.
There are other disadvantages to using air pumps such as the time it takes vs O2 and the scrubbing of volatile aromatics because of the sheer volume of gas bubbled through the wort.
And of course the benefits when using o2 on lagers and higher gravity beers are well known.
