I bought one of these to make a sparge water heater.

But it has no markings on it for live, neutral, earth.
I know the flat pin is live but does anyone know which is which for the round pins?

Weird I would have thought the flat pin was the earth.
the two circular pins would continue through to the element inside.

Good job I asked, I assumed it was the live! I'm going to email the shop and find out.

It doesn't matter which the live and neutral go to, but if you want to wire it like a normal socket connect the live to the one on the right.

Get them to confirm what the wattage is also? I got burnt (no pun intended) buying elements from them only to figure out afterwards they were were 1.5kw & not 2.7kw that I was expecting.

Yeah same happened to me. I thought I was getting a 2kw element but it's only 1.5kw aswell.

This is a great 2500W element and perfect for 13A/240V systems, also 1".
