32l Peco BIAB boiler - Extract Kits?

I'm new to brewing but am hoping to start with extract kits in the new year and was wondering about this boiler: http://www.homebrewwest.ie/peco-biab-all-grain-starter-kit-with-temperature-control-4305-p.asp

Is it suitable for malt extract? From reading reviews it seems that it would be okay but isn't very good at high OG brews - there's some belgian recipes I'd like to try.

Or would I be better off spending some more money on a 30l or 40l buffalo?

Ask yourself some of the following questions.
1. Are you comfortable boiling 20 litres of sticky liquid in a plastic bucket? Wort is similar to napalm when boiled.
2. Can you spare some extra money & instead buy something more heavy duty? If you plan on doing this long term should help you decide.
3. Do you have kids that would be anywhere near this unit? If so what is the risk of this failing.
4. Are you handy with basic DIY? If so consider adapting some kind of stainless steel.container to add a couple of heating elements.

This is the boiler that I have and I've never had issues with doing extract or all grain. Ive done 10-15 brews in various sizes and never had any issues with it. The bucket is made from a special type of plastic that can handle 100C boiling liquid like its nothing.

If you have any questions ask away. I believe that its perfect for someone starting off but I will eventually upgrade to something a bit slicker eventually myself.

You do need to be careful when adding LME so as you're not pouring it directly onto the element.
