Hey guys, I'm in a pretty small apartment and an extra fridge is out of the question. Also I don't have any access to a garden/garden shed.

Does anyone here have any experience with the Cool Brewing bag/similar insulated bags for FV's? I'm very keep to find some sort of temp control for my home brew.

Cambrinus uses one and produces some excellent beers.
If budget allows and space is a premium this should work well.

I've got one, only used it a couple of times but it definitely helps. You can control temp by throwing in an ice pack or two if the fermentation raises the temperature inside the bag. I didn't find the quality of it to be brilliant though. The zips are sticky and mine has a small tear in it from where a plastic bucket handle caught the lining. So while its decent for €65 I think they're a bit pricey for what you get.

An alternative is to build a box with kingspan and duct tape...

Yup. I use one most of the time. I find it works excellent for me. The quality of the bag is ok but one has to careful not to lift bag with the fermenter in it. This will tear the inner lining.

It's a quick and easy solution when space is an issue.

I also have one. Great once you get the hang of the bottle freezing time swapping out. Also handy for kettle souring in a fermenter if you have a heat belt.
