Hi,
Can Anyone recommend a quality Chest Freezer that would fit a 4 Keg Setup? I'm looking to make a slightly smaller Keezer after my 6 Keg setup, sprung some leaks in the internal cooling coils (It was 23 YEars old(check with Manufacturer and serial number), not buying second hand freezers off DoneDeal again  ???)

Maybe a recommendation for a 6 Keg setup just in case, Corny's that are 22cm in Diameter and 55cm High

Thanks

Skittlebrau

Bought this chest freezer new last summer for €180 delivered. It fits 4 kegs(22cm in Diameter and 55cm High)  plus gas cylinder with a collar fitted.

No issues with it so far, and covered under warranty. If it breaks down the collar can be taken off easily and freezer sent back in original condition.

That'll fit 4? I was eyeing that up as a replacement for my last freezer that died before Christmas (!). That could only hold 3 full and one half keg. Great if I can do 4 full size ones :)

Does it need a collar too? Seems high enough to not need one

Fits 3 on the bottom and 1 on the hump with a collar. 2kg CO2 cylinder can fit on the hump too, or 5kg CO2 cylinder can fit on the floor either.

I have a photo of it but the attachment won't upload.

THanks Skittlebrau ... IS there any chance I could trouble you for a photo of your setup (THe internals). THat's a good Idea using the Shelf for the Fourth Keg, I didn't even think that'd be possible.

Apologies for the poor quality photo. The set-up is quite messy currently. The keezer is due to be tidied up internally and a wooden enclosure built....eventually :)

Fairplay, that's a lovely setup.... I'm a believer now

Bollocks. That freezer has gone up to €239. In was in the 180s last week. Should have ordered then  :'(

They are probably putting the price up temporarily so that in a few months they can advertise it at the former €180ish price BUT claim it's a bargain at x% off. Keep a eye on it....

The big chains do it all the time.

It's 196 at the moment. I might pull the trigger.
Skittlebrau can you confirm if the kegs sat in the bottom of the freezer fit without the collar with the disconnects?

3 fit on the bottom without a collar. 5kg gas cylinder wouldn't fit comfortably without a collar. 2kg cylinder should fit without a collar but don't have one on hand to confirm. If you have a gas cylinder height I can measure to confirm if it will fit.

Thanks. It's sounds like the same size as my old one. The tank is some small profile american one. For I can get to the shed I'll get dimensions
