Newbie from Waterford

Hello Everyone & Thanks for having me.

Very new to home brewing, Have three extract brews under my belt (Two were great & one not so great). Currently reading a lot & watching videos online to boost my knowledge. I'm also trying to source the equipment (as cheaply as possible) for my first all grain brew.

Are there any members here from Waterford or the sourounding area?

Waterford member here. Currently attending the KK brewing meets as there does not seem to be much of a brewing scene around Waterford. Echo what Darren says about dropping into KK brewers for a meetup.

Yeah I'd love to come & see what its all about. I imagine there would be some sampling involved? Might need to leave the car at home

Yep, always a few samples for feedback, bring them if u have them but not required.

New Member as well just moved to Waterford, was hoping to find a club in Waterford but by the looks of it there's not one around, would be definitely interested in meeting up for a brew I currently use the brewmonk all grain . Any real interest in setting up a group in Waterford ? ....sorry if this is the wrong place to put this up .

I have been trying to set something up, but while there are brewers here, everyone seems to have complicated lifestyles, like young kids, long commutes etc. That make a standard pub meetup/ beer tasting less feasible than for other groups.

There was a meetup in the beerkeeper pub until that shutdown.

I was in London Amateur Brewers for years and we did some big stuff there, miss the buzz tbh. Keen to start something up, even if it means meeting up in people's houses (got a brew coming up)

I totally get real life has to take president . And in all honesty I couldn't guarantee I'd make every meet up , that been said if we could get a group of people to meet up every now and then and get a page going. Reckon it be a great start . Even if it is in a house for a chat and a brew once in a while. I'm sure we could even pinch the odd night to try some of the craft taps locally. Either way I'd definitely be up for trying to get something going .
