NHBC Orgainsation

To fulfill the membership needs we need to address our structure. Below is not set in stone but roles that have arisen since the inception of the club. Having more than one person in each role would be best (apart from the chief).

All clubs should have a place at the table. At least one rep from each club. Some may have more but one to discuss tactics on the ground and get the message out there.

Internal Ops should exist consisting of these people.

Formal roles should be filled.

These include:

Architects - members with access to Internal Ops. Every club should have at least one but preferably two architects.

Architects would fill the roles below:

Chief/El presidente
Vice Chief
Treasurer - Brian Dempsey
Education (Team)
Competitions coordinator
Club Coordinator - keeping the club picture together.
Sponsors/fund raising - making friends
Membership coordinator - pulling together membership benefits and
IT Team - Maintaining the IT side of the club.
Brand Manager
Publisher - keeping the front page rolling with news.
Hand shaker/Baby kisser

If you are taking a lead in your club why not get involved. Why not get involved and help shape the club as it develops.

It is your club, have your say.

Padraic

Everyone, it would be great if a few others answered Rossa's call to arms, we need to get some architects on board to help run this place!

Ciderhead

Is that brushwood floating by there ;)

Come on now folks don't be afraid to take a step forward these roles are not accountable or judged and we don't take ourselves too seriously, there are also plenty of fringe benefits also, do not feel either that you have to be Dublin based.

Padraic what do you see yourself contributing to, I know like me you will also be driving your local club, Capital Brewers.

I am happy to step into any of the above or contribute to where team was mentioned above but in the immediate term see my major function as ensuring group buys are converted and delivered which is not on the list?

Padraic

I'm not sure where I'm looking to be, the Capital Brewers is my number one project at the moment.

After that BJCP training is a project I want to run with. But I'm willing to help people in any way I can.

Possibly help out with the front page as well! I'd like to see that updated more often!

Damo

I've answered the call!

I'm more than happy to help out to the best of my abilities,  When is the big shift due to happen or is it more of a fill the blanks situation?

anyways, I await further instruction ;)

irish_goat

I'd be happy to help out a bit more though not sure in what role. I don't really have the skills for anyone of the ones mentioned. Brewery liason perhaps?

Padraic

Thanks Damo and Irish goat, we are currently working on a secret handshake and will be bringing all of the new architects in over the coming days, we still need a couple of more volunteers. (It'll be easier to bring everyone in at the same time.)

I'm kinda the same, I don't really think I'm suited for any of the roles that Rossa listed out but I still want to help out where I can. I was originally recruited as an Architect to tip away at content on the Wiki as I do a fair bit of writing in my blog so I would be happy to step up my activity in that area.
