Went through a phase of drinking this stuff in the late 90's

Regularly drank cans of this during college

Be like drinking acid now I'd say

LordEoin

I was pretty partial to cans of carling or dutch gold.
Still am, but they give me a hangover from hell...

Ciderhead

Started on this stuff, it used to come in a wine box, and was the Wicklow "Dutch Gold" of the day, explains a lot of mental issues in later life :)

Oh an add too http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JmVe6bAEBIs

I think yellow pack was both Quinnsworth and crazy prices.

I can remember hangin about quinnsworth waiting for someone to bribe into buying a four pack for me. :-[
It was either that or assuring my older brother that I wouldnt tell Dad what he was up to while he was supposed to be lookin after me ;D

@Bren: At 14/15 it didnt take much to get pissed! Cant actually remember what it tasted like, Dont imagine I cared too much back then.

BTW: My first kit was purchased in quinnswort back then! didnt end well, 2l bottle bombs goin off in the attic. a mate of mine heard from somewhere that more sugar at bottling meant more alcohol.
Funny thing was parents saw the funny side, didn't get grounded :P

LordEoin

ooh, i forgot about the flaggons of linden village and old summerset. they make the occasional appearance still when the sun is blasting (about once a year) ;D ;D

was Yellow Pack not Crazy Prices?

Didnt Crazy Prices have a white pack??  Quinsworth was bough by tesco after quinsworth originalltt bought tesco from H-Williams...

anyway their beer was all horrible. I remember we went on an Irish ferries across to hollyhead and we had tennants and Skol...we thought dat was gorgeous compared to de usual Irish rubbish
