Last time I was up in IKEA i pick up what they say is a vase.
I'm sure us brewers can find a much better use for it that fecking flowers.

Huge base on that. Don't really see benefit of glass over plastic though.

True. But it's more likely you can reuse the plastic post topple. Now if I could find a plastic hydrometer...

Glass does not discolour and go sticky ( Yuk!! OK It depends what you put in it I know )

Ive two of them (thanks to the stout fellow blog) Great find!
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.
