Ive just mashed & sparged for the barrel brew. OG 1.100  there is 11.5 KG of grain in my mash tun. Would
it be worth sparging all that grain again to get a lower OG beer? Maybe a brown ale or something.  How much should I sparge with?
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.

IM after sparging it again and taking out 15 liters.

Its boiling at the moment and Im gonna throw in a lot of late hops in it.

I undershot my pre boil gravity on the RIS by 10 points so added a kg of DME to the boil. Got 20 litres @ 1.100 in the end.

For the 2nd runnings I batch sparged the grain & collected 20 litres at 1.045. Its sitting in a bucket now waiting to be boiled.
Im going to smoke my own malt this evening. Ive got some 100% cocoa bars here. Planning on steeping some munich malt
& the smoked malt, melt 150g of the cocoa & add at the start of the boil with the 20 litres of 1.045 wort. Fingers crossed I
get a nice smoked choc porter.
