What are you all planning for transporting the beer. You all happy using a standard fermentation bucket? Or kegs (only 19L)?

I've never moved beer like this before.

04. Nigel     Don't think ill make the sat. Sunday yes.

I can deliver yours on the Saturday. Its best if all brews go in together and then we blend whats left into the "Toppy-er-Upper" (see I'm assimilating the north side lingua franca at last) and the trial bottles.
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Hi all. In case you missed this. What do you reckon?

Will_D

Mine will be in a 5 gallon pressure barrel with a solid cap for the trip.

A corney would be no problem

People from Tog brew days have driven home with 5g in a 32 L fermeter with an airlock - Teaches fuel efficient driving!

i.e. Drive carefully, don't be agressive, no hard braking or acceleration else the car smells like a brewery for weeks

I chilled mine to 30 whilst ringing a taxi and brought glass carboy back home along with all equipment and a sealed up small beer. Unloaded taxi, pitched yeast.
My driver was excellent though-turns out his mate homebrews and was talking about us, so very safe driving!
As Will would say, simples.

This why we need the buisness cards ASAP

I meet all sorts of peeps with a HB family connection!

Lets get this thing going! We could grow another 100 or so members in next 6 months

:/ Was sure that it'll be this weekend ...

ColMack

I'm back from holidays but it is the 8th we agreed on.
I'm available for the whole day but I think the plan was to arrive at about 12 onwards.
Weather permitting I'll throw a few snags on the barbie for lunch.
I tidied up the garage a bit last night and have a pallet in place in the darkest corner. Another pallet on top of that should lift it up enough.  I'll PM directions in the next few days to those on the list.
