Bubble wrappy stuff

I have been given a roll of some kind of bubble wrap stuff, with a foil backing on it. I intend to use it for insulating my pot, if I ever get round to trying this biab business, but if anyone wants a couple of metres, they can have it. I don't want payment for it, but a bottle of 'You scratch my back, I'll scratch yours' falling down stuff would be accepted, if the receiver really insisted...
Transportation would be a problem, but I am in Carlow town once a week, and I'll be in Dublin roughly once a fortnight for the next few months playing cricket (no smart remarks, please ;)). For a start, I'm in Balbriggan on Saturday.
So if you want my address it's number one at the end of the bar,
Where I sit with the broken angels, clutching at straws,
And nursing our scars.

Just re-read that, and I've practically guaranteed rain on Saturday, haven't I?

I played 2 games for the gravediggers cricket team a couple of years ago. Scored 2 runs and bowled someone out. I'm a natural. It was boring as fuck though

I play with Bagenalstown - the oldest provincial cricket club in the country, celebrating 170 years this year. Some of the founders are still playing....
My eldest got onto the Leinster U. 17 squad this year.

Balls, I just spent EUR30 on a roll of this stuff.

I have a shed half-full of 'Keep it, I'll find a use for it again' stuff, and the other half is full of 'Buy it, you never know when it will come in handy'.

Is cricket like hurling for people who don't like to run???   :P

With the amount of drinking and spliffs that used go on during the Trinity cricket games, I'm not sure it's a sport at all. I remember someone had the job of rolling doobs for the umpire and he used look after the spliff for anyone who was passing. Obviously this was not competition cricket, there were no spliffs on the pitch at any competition games.....obviously.

Er...Bubble wrap? :).

I have stacks of the stuff, it's called reflectix from one company. It is really good for lagging boilers I'll say that much.
