So do I and I'm fed up of it.

20 euros worth of stuff off ebay and a project box and the problem should soon be solved.

Thanks iMark for the loan of the keg ;)

Or just weigh it when you know for certain that it is empty, then next time when you think it's empty just weigh it again and figure out how much liquid is left

Sounds like the making of a perfect article. Wonder could you add in a temp probe and then periodically record the temp.  Would be a useful thing to be able to do.

Nice work! I want one  8)

What's the flow meter? And did you consider getting the Swiss flow SF800 ir flow meter? It's a lot more expensive but probably more sanitary?

When you showed me these I figured the micro hole that the liquid flows through could end up making a creamy stout head. :)

Whats the Pn on the Flow meter? Where did you get it?. I see other uses on with batching in water at the start of a batch ( was that 10 liters or 11 ???)

I was looking at one of these:

http://www.ebay.ie/itm/1-25mm-Hot-water-meter-Up-to-90-C-Multi-Jet-Pulse-output-option-/261054786688?pt=UK_BOI_Electrical_Test_Measurement_Equipment_ET&var=&hash=item3cc813ec80

as a method of batching in water from Bolier to Mash Tun. Not resettable ........ except if it was reversed in the flow and it counts down!!

You only ever count the first and the last beer .....

this is all a bit too ,   Big Brother !!

The white US version is spec'ed to 80 degC. The black one from the UK doesn't have a temperature rating ?? A suppose a query to the vendor will fix that.

Cheers.
