Sure it would be better than adding sugar to a belgian.

...

When are those barrels going to be empty again?

mr hoppy

No grain mill so won't be ordering but there's some great beers out there brewed with whisky malt. I used to really like Raftman from Unibroue when I lived in Canada.

Bad day brewing is better than good day working.

johnrm

Grain will keep uncrushed for a year or more once kept dry and at room temp.

brenmurph

When I weighed some of the last lot they were in the 10.5 to 11 Kg range.

Defo no chance of expecting to get 13 kg.  They may be weighed by hand/eye but yer man has great eyes!!

You need to order in multiples of 10 kg bags - that way you will get more than expected.

No such thing as 12.5 Kg ( we are not splitting 25 kg bags here!)

If expecting 25 you will probably get 21 at most! To gaurantee at least 25 order 3 bags!

Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

@ Will_D, The flip of this is that I have seen some pretty hefty sacks.

Payment to MCI can be on Gross weight.
If I request it I'm sure we can get a lil' more than less, and charge accordingly.
Final cost we will pro-rata closer to the day.
(Must get batteries for bathroom scale)

@HB, Going to put this in KG to keep things in line, please post if incorrect, thanks!
