If you wanted to make a 3 tier system or heaven forbid tidy up the brew shed area

I got this stuff before , used it to replace my brewing table which was all wooden off cuts and was beginning to warp/show is age. Only got around to building it last week end.Ist impressions are the struts and arms are quite flimsy when assembling  once it s all put together it tends to seem stronger. Still quite wobbly though, I reinforced mine with some other timber...

If its what I think it is ( I bought mine in Woodies ) then its a "no bolt" system - "tabs and slots"!

Just make sure the tabs corrcetly locate in the slots as sometimes they only go through half of the slots.

No bolts its as will d said, although I had cut one part short due to width of shed bein slightly less  with saw and grinder, that part had bolts in it !    , your right about the slots, generally they don't tap fully through, , worked well today , handled 50 litres of wort and grain ,

Picked up two of these this morning, in order to do a tiered system. I'm thinking of varnishing the chipboard to make it more durable, easier to clean, and less prone to soak up spillages. I was also thinking I might put it on wheels, in order to move it, to be able to clean around it more easily. Would I lose stability with wheels, or could this be overcome be anchoring it to the wall with some sort of easy release system? I'm probably going to connect something on to it for keeping hydrometer/thermometers and other bits handy.

Any other tips or ideas.

I wouldnt put on wheels unless you had  coaster wheels that had a brake system. tbh the breath of these things arent very long, less than 50cm - might hold the diameter of a keg boiler/ mashtun. I was concerned about the spillages too and the warping of the chipboard-it isnt that thick and is only held in place by a little ledge on the cross beams (?). Any movement at all would flex the structure of it, would be ok if the surface you were moving it on was quite smooth ( and you have no/ little weight on it )

The misus was throwing out some plastic table covering , so i butcherred that and put it on top - only thing was the bottom of the kettle was nearly stuck to it after the boil so i need to put something between it and the plastic ....

Point taken re the stability issues of wheels, as I kind of thought that anyway. I do think that the chipboard is quite thick though on the ones I got this morning, probably an inche or more, so I couldn't ever see it warping. Do you have the lidl one, or a different one. The surface I have it on is fairly smooth, but if I want to move it, I will probably just take everything off it, as won't need to be done too often. I also have some offcut sheets of thin stainless steel, so might use some of that to cover it. I think I will varnish it anyway, just so it doesn't attract dust as easily.
