Hello,

I'm looking for a pair of universal poppets and was wondering if anyone knows where I can get them this side of the Atlantic?
I can find them in the States and Canada but not in Europe so the shipping is a little expensive. I am converting a pin lock keg
to ball lock and have the posts but not the poppets and Stefan in Candirect says he cannot help me with suitable poppets.

thanks!

Is there such a thing as universal poppets? I have several ball lock kegs, and some of them have poppets that need replacing, and I thought I had to buy specific ones to match, but if I thought I could just buy universal ones, I would be well happy. I suppose they should be universal really, as the JC fittings that go on the in/out posts are the same size, so the poppets should be as well. Hopefully someone can shed some light.

This is what I am talking about :

If you read the comments quite a few are saying that the spring is too tight to fit some kegs, another guy posted to say that it can be trimmed to make it work. Makes sense to me so I am going to give it a go... its either that or give up on my keg...
