No problem brenmurph. I'll sort out with you before the meet.

Just a reminder for people to bring any sub-4% beers that they want to enter into the "Summer Session" competition to next weeks meeting.

I think we can only allow 1 or 2 entries per club, so how are we going to establish which 1 or 2 beers are put forward? Any ideas?

I presume there'll be a tasting session as per normal on the night as well (as well as some lovely pints from the bar)

brenmurph

ill bring a couple no prob.

Coors clone and English mild,  the beetroot beer and the liquorice ale

If u need to make up numbers tell me which suits depending  on who else is entering or bringing sub 4% beers

delzep

I'm guessing it'll be 1 bottle for next week and 2 bottles for the comp?

I think I have a few bottles of mild knocking about that I can enter

Aren't you entering those beers in the capital brewers comp?
Brew Log

brenmurph

@ Shiny
havnt decided formaly on any comp. Liffey members were a bit slow to motivate themselves despite a few hints. I'm not on the capital's list am I?

I may just enter on behalf of our Kildare members who in general gave a dig out on our brew days
Ill be at liffey meet and take it from there

Shane Phelan

You PM'd me and I replied saying I had put you on the list....
Brew Log

"
01. Shiny - Belgian Wit - Expected to be ~3.7% (Still fermenting)
02. Dr Jacoby - English Ales (1 base recipe dry hopped 3 ways) - estimated ABV 2.8% (fermenting)
03. CARA - American Style Pale Ale - 3.8% PROVISIONALLY-it's not quite finished yet :S
03. beerfly - pale ale - 4% or just under
04. Cathal O D - Belgian Wit 3.8% x 3
05. Rossa a couple 3.4% ales. One all Vienna the other all Munich.
06. Fyodor - should we really be putting up the descriptions of the beer here?
07. SlugTrap - 4% honey weizen

So 4 bottles all together? Two for sampling, two for competition, correct?  "

thats the latest capital post on the summer beer, Im not on the list as of 16th sept  Ill pm ya shiny and sort something out

Shane Phelan

That's the old thread.

This is where you need to be looking. I spent a lot of time putting that info together to make it as comprehensive as possible so there is no confusion on anyone's part whether you are a judge, entrant, attendee etc..

I have also posted the most up to date list that I am aware of from comments in the thread and PM's. You can modify that to suit what you are entering.
