I'd buy a mash kit from HBC and put that through beer smith and you'd soon get a feel for it

Excellent Idea,

Thanks for all the help and responses CH throughout the day

Will just get the Irish red ale from HBC and do it that way but enter into their calculator

Actually beer smith is a very powerful tool and we don't do a lot on here, taken me a year messing about, and staring at it to get if right.
We could do with a beer smith thread on here just to answer questions.
So keep asking and me and others will respond

Totally agree CH, ive had a look at it a few times (Got the one on the Yarrrg Bay) and its still leaves me a baffled. What is the EBU for IMC pale malt its not on the spec sheet from what i can see.

The ale malt is 4-7 EBC. I dont have the sheets in front of me but Tube posted it on one of the malt threads during the GB.
On tap: Flanders, Gose,
Fermenting: Oatmeal Brown, 200ish Fathoms,
Ageing: bretted 1890 export stout.
To brew:  2015 RIS, Kellerbier, Altbier.
