Where do you all brew you Beer? I assume not everybody has a custom built brewery setup in your garage/shed? Does anybody brew in a room in the house other than the Kitchen?
I have recently moved house and was am thinking of using one of the reception rooms to brew in. Unfortunately there is no garage attached to the house and the SWMBO is not that happy me taking over the kitchen so I really have no other option. My only concern is the boiling stage. I usually loose 5-6 liters during the boil and am a little concerned of the amount of condensation it will create in the room. I will obviously have the windows open but was thinking I may need to install/buy a dehumidifier as well. I was looking at a few options in this regard. http://www.dehumidifiersuk.com/p/5541826/igenix-ig9812-12-litre-per-day-extraction-compact-portable-dehumidifier.html but not sure if it would make any difference? Thoughts?

Can you not boil outside and do the rest in the house? That's what I do anyway.

Do you use Gas or electric to boil? Boiling outside is an option I suppose however it is difficult to plan a dry day! I live in Fermanagh and we haven't had a dry day this last 3 weeks. I suppose I could look at some sort of gazebo and Weather Proof Extension Lead.

delzep

Umbrella in the fermenter.

I use electric, get the boil going in the house first with 2 elements and then bring it outside when it is rolling and unplug 1 element. I've got a space at the backdoor that's pretty well covered so even with light rain it's grand but I'd be able to construct a temporary shelter of sorts using plastic or something if it was raining bad.
