Hi Spud you look like you did your homework on this one, any thoughts about courses i should be looking at here or overseas where there is more of a focus on tasting akin to a wine sommelier rather than the full brewing education.
I know you are going to say they are of course linked.
I just don't want to become a professional brewer just a professional taster

This Certificate in Brewing is open to employees working in the food and drink sector, or to sole traders operating a micro/home brewery.  Job seekers may apply for a free place – subject to availability.

We use them for first aid training etc, I don't think it's a big deal to get a company to sign up and then the company can access reduced price first aid training etc

That's how it seems to be, so it's hard to persuade myself that I would be worth doing, when I have zero change of getting on it anyway. I'd say that also applies to anyone else who is employed, but not in the food and drink industry. Not sure why it actually matters if we were willing to pay oursleves. Regardless of that, still not sure I could justify €500 at the moment.
