Gas = 35
Where does price of gas come from Shane? 6kg or 2kg?
Bad day brewing is better than good day working.

nigel_c

alealex

Edge's ecconomics:

Refill: Any size bottle €10

New Red FeX with proper valve, no dip tube: €40

Fit New valve/remove DT/ Convert your Fex and fill: €40

Its a fairly simple model!

@CH: Please correct this if I am wrong!
Remember: The Nationals are just round the corner - time to get brewing

Ciderhead

Mr D correct as usual
They have loads of tanks, it's the new screw valve that costs 30 and the fill is 10.

nigel_c

Cheers guys. Just about out of gas. Had planned on getting over during the week but didn't get around to it. Day off next week is last chance for me before Christmas.

Sorry Tube but shiny 5kg red tank with new batch of valves are 40 now not 35 and is the reason we can get refills for only a tenner, v's 15 and 20 for the same volume elsewhere
I know you were getting a good deal for the older grey gas bottles with older valves but not sure how many they still have?

Ciderhead

Too True and for kicking around the back of the car.
I have a little training bra to keep my puppies from falling out and over.

Not techncially a 'Kegerator'...more of a 'Keezer' but any excuse to show it off  :P

It's hard to see from this picture but I now have 6 Kegs fitting in comfortably before the compressor shelf

very nice! And a good spread of beers to boot.

Ciderhead

That was the one that inspired me to buy a freezer, I put the stc on it but she nobbled it as the spare fridge!

Still looks as good as new. I'd say a few pints come out of that in the last 12 months:)

magnethead

Thanks Lads, It was fairly easy to piece together once I located the parts  ;D

Here's the 6 Kegs inside, extra gas(Nitro) running to the stout Keg....and you can see the computer fan, with the transformer all covered in Duct tape
TC is in one of the Kegs but not for long :)

Metattron

@Magnethead, what make and model was your freezer? Do you know the dimensions? I've been looking out for a freezer that will hold 6 kegs.
In primary:
In secondary: Wine, Melomel
In keg: Teddy Hopper, Coconut stout, 4 Cs, Buzz bomb, Never Sierra, Bock, OD
In the fridge: Helles Lager, Hob Gob
