UCking solar pumps
My advice is always carry a spare, I am seeing more and more examples of where they are turning out to be unsuitable for brewing purposes.

Chugger will deffo be T now HB:(

Cheers for sorting me Kev.

There isnt any reason for the pump to be broken. It never clogged & was working as normal last brew (that was Sept though). Its not the power plug as I tried a few so its a pump failure. Buy cheap buy twice I guess but it had a good run. Almost 12 months.

The chugger will be a welcome addition now. No rush though. Cheers.

Hop bomb just out curiosity were you running wort through it?  If so have you flushed it through with with child clean water for about 15 minutes afterwards?

I use it for fly sparging & for recircing boiling wort from kettle to plate chiller back to kettle. It then gets used to transfer from kettle to fermentor. It gets the full works as I use it to push PBW through my plate chiller then a cold water rinse cycle after that.
