Hey guys, my names Dave and I'm just about to go from kits to all grains. The kits are good and I've learned some of the process of basic brewing and how keep everything sanitized. But I'm really looking forward to messing around with recipes and making some really nice beers. I'll probably be asking some questions in the near future so I'm just thanking you in advance.

Cheers guys,

Dave

Cheers Shane, I'm based in D12. I've been brewing since just before the summer. Just doing kits but moving on to all grain. Where are you based?

Welcome to the dark side of the brew force :P Seriously though best of luck, some of us still have not got up off our fat arses and finished their AG setup :'(

That sounds good, cheers. Do I need to bring anything?

Thanks Greg, looking forward to getting stuck into doing some nice beers from scratch. The kits are great but just want to do some beers to my liking.

I think the biggest part is getting your setup finished and dialled in to suit your own personal needs, everybody is different even with similar gear, you will have a blast, though hopefully not the propane kind  :o :P

The set up I'm doing is gonna be electric, so hopefully no shocks! I got a 28ltr electric brew kettle and 36ltr brew kettle. Thinking of using the 28ltr electric brew kettle for a hot liquor tank and the brew kettle a and using the 36ltr brew kettle as a mash tun. Any ideas on this guys would be much appreciated.
