Chatting to Tony in Wholesale Welding Supplies today, he said that they have a division who do gas cylinders and refills for the craft breweries.
They reckon they will be able to provide any mix of gas you need, 75/25 should not be an issue.

As I understand you buy your cylinder outright.
After that its an exchange system.
I imagine you pay more for doorstep swaps than back to base.

Tony was saying that they should be fully up and running by end Q1 2014 and sounded very interested in what we are doing.

No mention of VAT so assume pricing is ex VAT.

Note the cylinders are sized by volume rather than weight of gas.

For mixed gas weight is not a consideration!

Mixed gas is Volume of tank x Filling pressure , measured in Bar (pressure: 1bar = 14psi)

So a 10 litre bottle filled at 220 bar contains 2.22 cubic meter of gas at standard pressute and temperature (short: STP)

A cu metre is also 1000 litres and if water is 1 metric tonne.

If you have a gas bottle then one of the things stamped on it is WC (this means Water Capacity) and is the volume of the bottle.

Other things you will see stamped:

TP: Test Presuure
WP: Working Pressure

Test dates are a bit cryptic!!
